Dear Parents.

Sending you greetings from here, and I am well. I had no mail this week, what are you doing now at home, sowing the clover? How is Werner, is he still in Posen and have you send him his civilian clothes, has he said anything how long he has to stay there? How is your weather? Here it has gone warmer a bit, but today we are surrounded by fog, smells like rain. Anyone home on furlough we know? No other news from here so please write soon.
