Dear Parents.
Greetings to you from here, hope you are all well same as I am. Last night we arrived in our new positions, and is further south but I don’t know where it is. We shall push the Russians back, and defending
Schaulen,. How far are you with the harvest? Have started bringing some of it in? Did all the other Ketschaus come to help? I got your letter # 9 and the newspapers, now I have eaten all that you send me except the can of blood sausage.Did you get the 60 Marks and when will you send a parcel? I think the Feldpost is not honest, they can say they mailed it in Warsaw and who can control it from there? Write soon and tell me the news and I hope I will see you again soon.
Your Werner.
