Heiligenstadt Feb 12 1943

Dear Hellmut.

Thank you for the letter from Jan 31 , don’t worry about the 2 letters that are missing, I am coming home soon myself and you can tell me what you wrote in them. How did your marks go in school? How many bad ones did you get? Dad told me they were very bad this term. We have nice weather here but a lot of wind. I beentothe Dentist today and had 2 teeth pulled, not very nice feeling. I got no teeth on the front now but I get new ones. What else are you doing to be good? Hope all is ready for the time when I come on furlough.

That is all for now, your Brother Gerhard
