Dear Parents and Grand Dad !

I just got the time to write a few words to you Today we detrained in the Carpathian Mountains and we are poised to march the next 150 Kilometers I just hope I can manage that. It is very warm now and the hope of a decision in this war makes our life easier. From now on it is again with full strength at the enemy. I am well and hope that is for you too. I still have no address and can not give one until our final destination. Another 2 days and we are in the 4th year in Russia and I have not been home in any summer , when 0 when will we live a normal life again. We have to be patient and hope for a reunion soon.

Greetings Heinrich
