Dear Parents !

Iam ona early morning job guarding a barricade during a battle tactics. And got the time for a short letter. I am well, and don’t worry about me. I do my very best to stay out of the way of all danger. What comes to everyone must come, and God will steer faith. It might take another few weeks training before I am going to the front I am back to my weight I had when I joint the Army years ago. But I am still looking forward to hear from you and how nice would it be to see home again one day and peace on earth. But it will come, I am sure of it, and those soldiers that survive are the lucky ones. For now my heartfelt Greetings

Heinrich
