Dear beloved All !

Today I will answer your letter, and the reason is to thank you for the 2 sausage parcels . Many, many thanks. It is now Sunday afternoon and I just had a afternoon nap and tonight , like so many nights before, I am on guard in the stables. During the week we out in the field on the firing range, and I don’t think we will stay for long here in Bergen. We have to clear camp on March 1* and new recruits move in. Maybe we will then be billed in private quarters. . I lost all feeling of civil life now. There are only uniforms to be seen here, Horses and Trucks and Cars . I had a card from Major Lange last week, I have to answer that I think. Maybe next Sunday or the one after that I apply for a weekend furlough. I do it just to see you and home again and see how things are going. Stay well and in good heath.

Heil Hitler

Heinrich.
