Dear Parents and Werner.
Today just a fast letter to you, so you don’t have to worry about me. But let me send you also Greetings from here, a few weeks I had trouble with my stomach but I am well again and hope the same from you. I am writing this letter from the Bunker , I am well and I am back on guard. Yesterday I had a letter from you after a long time again, that was the letter from August 11th. I just would like to know , where all the letters and parcels end up, I know for sure that you write often to me and send me things. The parcel that you took to Ollendorf I have not received yet. How far are you with the harvest? , have you cut the Rye and Barley yet? Maybe you have already got it in, and how good did the motor on the Binder go? Did he go all the way or did Werner had a repair to do? Around here the harvest seems to be a good one, the rye is standing well, but nobody around to cut it and bring it in. we marching now across the fields, there is nothing that can stop our march now. All that counts is us and Russians who have to surrender this year. When that happens there will be peace again and we cai go home. ; How is your harvest weather at home? Is it as warm as it is here? At noon, in the sun, it is very hot but at night is is pretty cold already. Did you get the 60 Marks I mailed you? Also I send some parcel stamps, yes, I knew Heinz K1v2stner was home on furlough, you wrote that to me, and I even had a letter from Horst , when is Werner going to be called up? Tell him to write in detail to me what was the decisions are.
I will close for now and hope you write soon greettings to all of you, from your Artur.
Greetings to Ritters , Ketschaus, and Maria. How are things in Udestedt?
