Dear Parents!

Greetings from here in the East and I am well hoping the same from you. I told you that I had arrived at the company and I am writing this letter from the position. It is 2 AM here and I am on guard, we are back in bunkers and they are nice and warm. The area is quiet here, I have not seen much of my old Comrades, the weather is once again atrocious with a big Blizzard raging. What is going on at home? I suppose you will start in the fields soon. How is Werner, have visited him yet? Did you get any of my letters I wrote in transit? You can send me the address from Artur from Udestedt . Let me hear from you soon so I send you Greetings.

Your Artur.
