Dear Parents !

I am in bad mood, yesterday I was ordered into the Company Office and when I got there, I was given a furlough permit for 2 weeks and I started packing already. This Evening the 1* Lt has all the Furlough permits torn to shreds because the team was not fast enough on the guns to get ready to fire. We, the drivers had nothing to do with it, so there is no more furlough for now. I am disappointed of course but I will go to bed, . That’s the way we are treated, tomorrow we move to another camp please send me some polishing cloths and make a bag for them.

Heinrich.
