Dear Parents

Heartfelt Greetings from here, and I am well, hope the same from you. Today I got mail from you and it was letter # 4, also a card from Werner and the weekly paper. Did you get the parcel stamps in the Air Mail letter? Has my Comrade from Sömmerda been to see you? I can not understand it, I gave him a letter for you to deliver by hand, But I think he mailed the letter from Erfurt, how is work with the beets and turnips now? Still waiting for rain? Have you got much this year in Cherries and strawberries? Today I found the first Blueberries here, , they are very good. What else is new at home? Lets hear from you soon and I send greetings to all.

Your Artur.
