Dear Annerl Dear Hugo.

Eight days I am back again this country, that God created when he was in a bad mood, but at least I found it a bit better than I hoped for.

There is a sinister quietness around here but lets hope this will hold all winter, I would welcome it. Will you going to Kandel for Christmas or-will you celebrate it at home?, wherever you are, I am wishing you a very merry Christmas and above all a Happy New Year and may it bring us peace after all and all our wishes will be fulfilled.

How are you and little Marlies? Will she remember me? I do look forward to our next reunion so for today

Greetings to all of you, Your Fritz
