Dear beloved Christel.
After a hectic 2 weeks I am at last able to write to you my Darling. What happened in these 14 days I can not write about in detail because it is top Secret. Please be assured, I am not going to the front, I am taken over here the section 1 a for 5 months. What will happen after that I don’t know, and I will tell you when I know more about it. In these last 14 days I have seen much, something that not many have seen so far, and that is why I look full of confidence into the future like many others do.
How are you my Dear? I could not make it for New Years Eve because I had to leave here on Jan 1st early. I hope you not angry , I would have come if I could have made it. Right now I am busy with my new job, and I hope to write a lot to you from now on. Have you got much snow?
Here in Berlin the snow is almost gone, this afternoon I will visit my aunt, I am back in Berlin since yesterday , I will write more this afternoon.
Until then heartfelt Greetings and Kisses
Your Waldfried.
