Dear Ilse!
At last I have time to think about you , so far, we had not a free minute to write because we were on front line deployment. We are now in a rest area yes Ilse, I still remember the nice days we had during my furlough, and I don’t think that they ever will come back. By the time the war is over and we are home, we are not as young anymore, but we do the best we can with our youth time, it would be a pity not to enjoy the rest. Dear Ilse, how are you now? I am very well, I live a good life but who knows how long it will last. I hope your Sisters are well too, and your Mother. Yes Dear Ilse, I must close now because we have a full Alert now and it means quick into the Bunkers . I like to write to you and hope you do too, God is with us, Greetings to Lebaut.
Greetings to all from your Parachutist
Harald P.
