Dear All !

Time to write again I am well, but today the Bolchivicks got us under Artillery fire and at times we crawl into the earth like moles. Any mail will take 2 weeks to get here send me some writing paper and boot cleaner, if only the bad weather would stop. Here too the harvest is going to start soon. It is a mystery to me how they harvest the huge fields of grain and other things. Yes, send me a Schaumburger Newspaper, What are the news from other Soldiers who are here in the east? From far away I send Greetings
