Braunschweig June 8th 1944

Dear Beloved All !

Just a few lines for tonight I don’t know much news I was out today and build afew prefabricated huts for those that are bombed out. Yesterday I was attending a funeral of an officer and that wasa sad change from the normal day routine. I hope I stay here a while, you could send me a parcel too. There is not much in Braunschweig, so please write soon. For now Greetings,

Heinrich.
