Dear beloved All !
It is Sunday at noon and just ate a small portion of thin lentil soup , I will not think about our Sunday Dinners we use to had at home. But then, usually after a few bad days, the good times will return , if we survive the war . The situation here is as follow, all is still the same as it was, whereas in Poland the Russians approaching Warsaw so what do you think how this war will end? So before the fall, somewhere somehow there must come a chance, if not, then things will not look very encouraging for us. Looks like even more old folks have to be drafted At home, like that guy Gébbels announced this week a total mobilization of all resources to win this war. Let us therefore hope that all measures taken will be for the best. Yesterday I was in HKL ( Main front Line) in a forced march we did the Kilometers to it, today is Sunday and we are back and the Infantry training continues. The marching is not so bad now for my feet, I have lost a lot of weight now, . The weather is hot here in Romania, and cost a lot of sweat. You wrote that you had a Cow with a calf from Borstal how much was it? Looks like you still very busy at home and you worked on your Siver Wedding Anniversary day. Have you had at least a drink on that day and is the Kitchen done now? I will close now, and send Greetings
Your Heinrich.
