Brest Litowsk Sept 12th 42

Dear Parents and Werner.

You wondering about my card from Poland? Bit its true, because I was wounded on Sept 5th 42 on my left hand and I am here in a base treatment hospital and I am waiting for the next red Cross train that suppose to bring me to Germany. Once there I will give you my proper address. Don’t send any mail until you hear from me. I suppose you are in the Potato fields now busy? I hope to come to a Hospital near you.

Greetings
