Dear Werner

Today I am writing to you for a change and I send you my best wishes from here. I am almost better now, and I hope all is well with Papa , mama and you. Today I also got your card from Weimar. Did you get the Parcel that I mailed with things inside for you. How do you like it in Weimar in that School, much work to do? Is the Teacher Wagner still there and teaches? The 2™ term will be harder for you, have you noticed? What do you do on Sunday’s, are you going to Wenzel’s café at times? Here all is still the same, we go out a lot, with much movies to see. But the films that they show are old “Hams” that I have seen years ago back home. My injury is getting better too, I am getting a daily massage now, and that helps a lot. But it will be take some time before I get back to my Company. But I am glad when the day comes that I get out of here, I am homesick too, I want to see our home, it is a long time now since I was home last time. How far are you in the fields? Carted many loads of turnips home yet? There will be the sugar beets to come yet, Maybe I can help with them if I get recovery furlough. Tell Papa to send me Pullover and gloves, yesterday we received - our first batch of winter clothing. Please write soon, so I greet you Dear Werner and Mama and Papa,

Your Artur.
