Dear Parents.

Greetings from here, I am well, last night at 5 we arrived here and it is a wonderful area , 35 Kilometers from the Sea shore. The trip to here was uneventful, the local population is not exactly pleased to see us. I mailed a few cards during the trip. Have you had mail from Artur? How is he, and how is your weather? Here everything is in full bloom, and it is warm. You finish with the fields now? I will close now and send you greetings from far away.

Your Werner.
