Dear Parents

Greetings from here and hope all is well at home, today I got the parcels # 1-2 and 3 and thanking you very much. Here it rains very heavy and it wont stop. I received a letter from Gerhard Schmidt , how is your weather? Did you ever get my parcel with the photos? I enclose the stub from the last parcel ticket incase it got lost.

We are drinking a lot of wine, I never drunk so much, but everything else is expensive, last Sunday we had a pass to go into town, there is a lot to see here, especially from Roman times, and a Rink for Bull Fighters .

I will close now and hope for a reunion soon.

Your Werner.
