Dear Parents.

I am sending you greetings from here and hope all is well at home. My throat is hurting and I work only inside Thank you for the parcels # 7 & 9 and the letters 3 & 4 . Whatever was in the parcels was very good. I don’t know anything about the furlough ration stamps, I don’t think they are valid here. We can eat in town but everything is expensive. We are not allowed to tell you what we do here, our letters are censored. I send you my Cigarette coupons here , I don’t smoke much now.

I will close now and send you greetings

Your Werner.
