Dear Parents.

Sending you greetings from here and hope that you are in good health as I can say that from myself. Thank you for the letter # 28 and the card # 29 and also a letter from Artur and one from Gerhard Schaubs. It is very hot here now, we are working all day at a Field air port. Here we have mostly spare parts for Planes coming from Köllnda. I have not received the money yet, but I got parcels from Gerhard Schaubs. You can send up to 36 Marks each month, if you send more, it stays here at the companies office and will be paid later. Cherries are cheap here, 18 Francs= 90 Pfennings a Kilo. Thank you also for the dictionary French -German, that I received. I bough a fountain pen for Artur, that was 105 Francs. I will bring it with me when come home. Yesterday I made an application for new pants.

I will close now, and send you greetings and hope to be coming home soon. I cut my thumb, that’s why the bad writing .
