Dear Parents.

Sending greetings from here and hope all is well. I think today is Sunday but around here we don’t know, we are in the process of building a better Bunker, our positions must be ready before the next winter. So it means that the war will go on, we can hear the German Music over the radio. I had some mail from you , all were older letters that we thought had been lost. All in all there were 10 letters I got.there was one from Horst and the teacher even. I mailed aparcel today wit Cigars for Papa and Chocolate for Mama, lets hope it gets there . I will close now and send you greetings and hope for a reunion.

Your Werner.
