Dear Parents.

Best Greetings from here, Hope all is well at home, yesterday I got parcels with newspapers but no other letters came with it. Today we have a better weather but we have frost at nights Today was a good day for eating, we killed 8 chickens yesterday they went into the pots today and then into our stomach. Everyone had a bird for himself. Today we had a new Sgt who will be training us as sharpshooters.

Otherwise all is ok here, greetings until we see each other again.

Your Werner.
