To the Führer and Reich Chancellor Adolf Hitler

Berlin SW, Wilhelm Street

My Führer!

With this letter from 5, August of this year, I have allowed myself, to inform you, my Führer of my problems with the German Reich Insurance Administration, my pension and dealing with the highest German court. The Reich Chancellery has had the goodness to transfer my letter to the German Reich Labor, Minister. The Labor Minister informed me that he wasn't able to do anything for me. He transferred my letter to the German Reich Insurance Office. Unfortunately, the German Reich Insurance Office didn´t change the verdict against me. It is for this reason, I apologize my Führer , that I again bother you with this matter. While at my last meeting with my company President, he suggested to me to file a new application for a pension from the Welfare Organization. I have done this, but the German Reich Insurance Office has refused my request with the note that I just can file a new application after one year of my first application. My Führer, I must inform you about this unbelievable circumstance, which isn´t dignified according to your quotes and principles. As I already have mentioned in my last letter, the German Reich Insurance points out that I am still employed, and therefore I cannot get a pension. The jobless Insurance says that I am disabled and not unemployed, and therefore I cannot get an unemployment benefit. And this is the unbelievable and dishonorable circumstance, committed by two independent state administrations. It is not possible that I am unable to work according to the German Reich law, but in the same time also able to work. There must be an administration who can pronounce judgment and tell me which state administration is right. It is also a major injustice that I still need ration stamps even though the unemployment law restricts ration stamps to the period of joblessness. Also in this matter, a decision is needed. The German Reich Welfare Organization has already sent me the money for the stamps for the year 1935 and 1936. Therefore, I will not lose my membership. I also received the money to apply for a new file and a medical certificate from the Welfare Organization. I just can assure you again and again that I am not able to perform any work. Three of my doctors said that I have been disabled for the past 31.4 years, and even three state doctors attested to the same medical result. These official doctors were the company doctor, the public doctor as well as the Welfare Organization doctor. My Führer, I beg you again to order that this matter be examined by a responsible administration. In case you are not able to resolve this unbelievable circumstance, I beg you, my Führer, to order that I receive a continuing benefit and my pension from the German Reich Insurance Office. I also point out that I don´t have a criminal record. I fulfilled my four years war duty as well as all my state citizen duties very faithful and I never made use of the Welfare Office. I am also gladly willing to try to get a job for war disabled persons, but the job center always has refused with the statement that they haven´t a job which I am able to do with my disability. With the hope and expectation, that you, my Führer will agree to my request, I remain as your more loyal and more obedient servant, Arthur Seidenkranz.
