Dear Beloved All !

A few words every few days in the evening if one has the time to do it. Only thing is, the Christmas candles are almost all gone now and one bad news follows another, I los the Cigarette lighter when I pulled my gloves out of my pocket , but, Dear Parents, try and get another one for me. I just returned with an Axt from an errand, I knocked down the walls of a house for firewood because in the evening one like to be in the warm and you can not imagine the cold here in Russia. Today I also ate my last food I ahd saved from home so please send me something. Don’t let me starve.

Many Greetings Heinrich
