Dear Parents and Grand Dad !

Yesterday I got another 3 long letters from you and I am glad that you write so often. I told you that I was upset about all the promotions over Christmas, but don’t tell all our relatives what I thought about that. I beg you to burn all letters and cards that I send you . I am now near Luganskaja west of Rostov and we surrounded the city. I still got the wristwatch but it is not going anymore, I will send her home for repair. If you saved enough money over the winter, try and get some more Milking Cows in the spring and please think about your work more than about me. I am ok, do your job and I do mine.

Greetings Heinrich.
